Are the photos verified?

Each Alert is checked before being published. Images that violate our criteria are either erased or modified (when possible):

• presence of a person in the photo
• presence of a logo (brand or advertisement)
• presence of a license plate number or other information, allowing the issuer to be identified  
• presence of inappropriate content
• content that may shock a user

Images are automatically cropped into a uniform format defined by PetAlert.
